MAINTENANCE WORKER (Housing) – Full and Part Time
Location: Multiple locations
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year of experience in making repairs and performing janitorial/maintenance duties
External Hiring Range: $13.00-$14.50/hour Travel Required: Yes
Summary: The Maintenance Worker will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in several Goodwill locations. The Worker will be responsible for performing preventative and general maintenance/repairs ensuring the building(s), equipment, mechanical operating systems, and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained. Duties include, but are not limited to, identifying safety issues and taking corrective action to fix those issues; checking exterior doors to ensure they are secure; following guidelines to ensure the proper operation of all safety-related equipment; and maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies. The trustworthy applicant will be customer/detail oriented, possess organizational and problem solving abilities, have good oral/written communication skills, be able to manage time effectively and work independently. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
