City Charter High School Alumni Memories

At City Charter High School, students and staff create bonds that last a lifetime.  After graduation, students and staff reminese about the good times that were had in the hallways, the classrooms, and on trips.  This is our space to highlight those memories and connect with alumni to share those moments.
Teen Quest Volleyball

I remember the time when I was playing volleyball with Tori, Alonae, Kristina, and Nicole and even though were terrible at playing we had a great time!

Smiles, Smiles, Smiles

During our trip to Costa Rica in 2012, I remember a heartfelt conversation I had with Elissa Edmunds. We talked about the language barrier between our group and the people we encountered.  We agreed that "smiling is universal" because a smile is always refreshing.  During the trip we had so many moments where, despite our inability to speak the langauge, a smile made a big difference!

Dray and Denisha

These students were recipients of the Mayor's Youth Spotlight Award. They received this award because of their commitment to community service! I remember how honored both of these students were when they were nominated and excited when they were selected.

From Intern to Employee

Colleen Cavanaugh wove her internship and grad project together, creating a microscopic daily progress of a clown fish's life cycle with nano photography. Just a couple of months ago she was offered a job at her internship at the Carnegie Science Center! Congrats!
